God has blessed us with a faithful pastor, the Reverend David M. Young, who was ordained in 2001 (Master of Divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN) and received a call to Gloria Dei in 2008. He rightly proclaims God's Law and Gospel and administers the Sacraments in addition to teaching a mid-week Bible study and catechizing (teaching) our youth and new members in the faith.
Much of what occurs at Gloria Dei is organized by our secretary, Connie. She serves as a main point-of-contact for the church and can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (215) 646-0848.
Sharon has served as one of our pipe organists since 1998. She studied piano and clarinet all through her school years and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano Performance from Bryan College in Dayton, TN and a Master of Music degree in Piano Literature and Pedagogy from the University of TN. She has taught private piano for over 30 years.
Sharon is often accompanied by her husband, Sherwood, on recorder. She enjoys knitting and crocheting.
Cindy has been a member since 1980 and serves as one of our pipe organists. She has a Bachelor of Music from the Philadelphia Musical Academy (flute) and has taught and played professionally for nearly 50 years, also studying piano and carrying a piano minor for two years at Mansfield State College.
Cindy is often accompanied by her husband, Ed, on saxophone, and enjoys spending her free time with her family.
